Dandruff problem? It is not a good look.

Dandruff problem? White flakes visible in your hair, hairbrush, and on your clothes? Embarrassing isn’t it?

This is what our Australian, Penang-based, Master Formulator, Dr. Mike Thair has to say.
“Truth is, modern synthetic and surfactant-based shampoos can actually aggravate a dandruff problem. These products are mass produced using cheap synthetic ingredients. Our approach is artisanal, we only use botanicals. And absolutely no synthetics.

A war chest of natural ingredients to attack your dandruff problem

To help with healthy hair, and to assist with a dandruff problem, I have assembled a war chest of natural ingredients. Each has a good reputation in hair use. Here is what I use to formulate our all-natural shampoo:

  • Coconut oil for its amazing ability to cleanse.
  • Citrus limon (Lemon) Peel Oil to combat oily skin, and help clear up flaky, dry skin.
  • Rosmarinus officinalis  (Rosemary) Leaf Oil encourages hair growth.
  • Cedrus atlantica (Cedarwood) Bark Oil strengthens and stimulates hair follicles.
  • Litsea cubeba (May Chang) Leaf Oil to cleanse and a provide a scalp tonic.
  • Vetiveria zizanioides (Vetiver) Root Oil helps relieve dandruff and reduce flaking of the scalp. It is also antiseptic, so it can kill the bacteria or whatever is causing the flakes, and at the same time helps reduce skin inflammation.
  • Punica granatum (Pomegranate Kernel) oil hydrates your hair follicles.
  • Equisetum arvense (Horsetail) Extract will strengthen your hair shafts and help reduce dandruff.
  • Urtica dioica (Nettle) Extract promotes healthy hair and helps with scalp conditions.
  •
From the amazing formulation of natural ingredients was born Tropical Sunrise Shampoo.

The highest quality natural ingredients

We use only the highest quality essential oils. Discover the freshness of Lemon, cold pressed in Spain from freshly harvested fruit.  A strong, clean, purifying citrus fragrance. It is revitalising and uplifting. I always associate citrus with “clean.”  Then Cedarwood essential oil, steam distilled in Morocco. This oil adds a subtle warm, woodsy aroma.  It is comforting, uplifting. An oil that helps to soothe your mind and body. We have added a dash of Vetiver oil that lends a grounding, sensuous, and warm aroma. This oil is harvested and distilled in Indonesia.
The fragrance is inspired by sunrise. A time of subtleties and transition. A profound blend of Lemon, Cedarwood, and Vetiver.⁣

Handmade by our artisans on Penang Island, Malaysia. Quality that you can trust. Products are GMP and Halal certified.

And what are customers saying?

Fenny – 12 September 2017: It’s my first time using liquid natural shampoo, surprisingly it has more foaming than shampoo bar. I tried once shampoo bar but I stopped after one usage because it’s very uneasy to use and less foaming. Love the smell too, very refreshing.

Emily – 6 July 2018: I tried a sample in a hotel in Langkawi and I really wish I can get one whole bottle during my next Penang trip. The smell is heaven. My hair is always dry and thick, but this shampoo gently cleanse my hair without further making my hair dry. LOVE IT.

And with your hair looking good, dont forget proper skin care.
