……more benchmarking as I progress towards producing our own Incense Paper.
This
time, I am benchmarking a French brand.
This Frenchman has spent 20 years perfecting his Incense Papers.
The production process is complex and time consuming. Tinctures are produced over a period of three months. Next, the papers are impregnated with the tinctures. This is done over a period of seven days.
Next, the Incense Papers ‘ripen’ in sealed containers over a period of three months.
To
use, fold the paper into a concertina pattern. Place it on a non-combustible
surface. Then light one end of the paper.
It will begin to smoulder, gently emitting an incredible fragrance.
The smoke acts as a beautiful deodorizer. And uplifts your mood. These strips have been a secret to maintaining an amazing atmosphere in French homes for more than a century.
