Collaboration - South Africa
In 2018 we had a request from Zikhona in South Africa to join us in Penang for a week of mentoring. Why not we thought. So, on Monday 16 July she arrived at our Penang Island cosmetics production facility.
And her objectives were clear and straightforward: “I am hoping that a few days under your mentorship would help us, in terms of set-up, equipment, production. We are currently a 2 man show, husband and wife, and we would love to grow.”
And so it happened.
Since this experience we have done the same with women entrepreneurs from Ghana and Tanzania.
A wonderful learning experience for both sides. And we are discovering the entrepreneur spirit that is emerging in Africa.
