French Pink Clay

Clays are very effective in absorbing excess oil, dirt, and toxins from the skin while exfoliating and improving skin circulation.  With regular use (we recommend once or twice a week) your skin will seem smoother and softer, and you can feel the clay working as soon as it’s applied.

French Pink Clay is used in exclusive Spas and is the mildest of all clays and is recommended for sensitive skin, but works well for all skin types.  Rich in natural trace elements, French Pink Clay absorbs excess oil and dirt from the skin surface, refines, tightens pores, detoxes and removes dead skin cells and impurities to reveal soft, smooth skin full of vitality.

Routine


Step One: Litsea Patchouli Face Wash Cleansing- Deep clean, replenish and refresh the skin with the power of refreshing and astringent Litsea, calming Patchouli, and anti-inflammatory Cedarwood.

Step Two: Organic Bulgarian Rose Hydration Mist- Refresh, and balance skin pH to prime for further clay cleansing moisturizing and to remove any leftover impurities.

Step Three: French Pink Clay Mask – Using a wooden or plastic spoon, combine a teaspoon of clay with Bulgarian Rosewater at 1/1 ratio, mix into a paste, then using a soft brush smooth over your face (use your fingers if you don't have a brush handy). Relax a while and let this mask do its job. About 5-10 minutes later rinse with warm water to reveal fresh, bright skin.

Step Four: Essence Des Plantes Organic Face Oil – Moisturize with our formulated face oil to replenish and hydrate the skin.

Skin Care While You Sleep

Our Australian Co-Founder & Chief Formulator, Dr. Mike Thair, gives some insider tips on skin care while you sleep.

“OK, these days many of us are time-poor and sleep-deprived (and that includes me). We need to be aiming at looking good and well rested, even if we don’t feel it. One secret I can share with you is maximizing skin care while sleeping.

You are probably well equipped in caring for your skin during the day against environmental stress.  At night you skin is in repair mode regenerating new cells and restoring damage. Sleep allows for detoxification and nervous system recuperation. This is not a time to be bombarding your skin with synthetic chemical-based skin care products. My advice is to keep your approach simple. What your skin requires overnight is good vitamins, antioxidants and nourishment.

Our Essence Des Plantes Organic Face Oil is the perfect answer in maximizing skin care while sleeping. The organic Jojoba seed oil contains vitamin E and B, chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish your skin after daily environmental stress. Organic Sesame seed oil contains linoleic acid that provides both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This oil is rich in antioxidants, hence they are easily absorbed into the skin, nourishing it from deep inside and promoting skin softness. Organic Olive oil contains three major antioxidants: vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols. Vitamin E accounts for the anti-aging benefits of olive oil as it helps restore skin smoothness. Use in the evening after showering when skin is still damp.  Only a very small amount (usually less than 1 pump) is required. Pump the oil into your palm, rub hands together and gently pat your face, neck, and décolletage, spreading a thin even layer. Leave for a few minutes to let the oil sink into the skin.”

A peek into our production facility……TRACEABLE INGREDIENTS

The intricate journey from raw ingredient to the final product is complex.  Our in-house Quality Manager, Ms Yus Roseniza Binti Yahaya BSc (Hons) manages this journey. She is experienced and highly qualified for this job.

Firstly, she will establish that every ingredient purchased has a Certificate of Analysis and Lot Number on the ingredient container.

Secondly, she checks that this Lot Number appears on the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR). The BMR has a unique Lot Number for the product being made.

Finally, when you purchase an Indochine Natural product, this Lot Number is on on the packaging.  If you, the customer, contact us about a product you have purchased, from the Lot Number of that product, we can tell you the exact details of every ingredient.

Further, for every product batch produced, we keep samples.  In our production facility, we have two laboratories. The first is our microbiology laboratory and the second our physical chemistry laboratory. For other tests, including Heavy Metals, we send these to an outside laboratory.  Again, from the product Lot Number on the product you buy, we can tell customers of the lab results.
