What can you learn from the Lot Number on our products?

If there is one thing that distinguishes Indochine Natural from many other brands is our meticulous attention to detail, and this is certainly demonstrated in the use of Lot Numbers that can be found on our products.

Dr. Mike, our co-founder and Managing Director has established a Quality System where every product ingredient that comes into our production facility must have a Lot Number and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA). For each product batch we produce, a standard production recipe sheet is allocated with a unique Lot Number, and for each ingredient used in the production batch we record the Lot Number on the recipe sheet. For each production batch we also record the temperature, humidity, times for each production step, and other observations/notes for the production process.

Therefore, if a customer comes back to us with a Lot Number for a particular bar of soap purchased, we are able to retrieve the CoAs for every ingredient in that soap bar, plus all other data associated with the production of that product. This ensures that customers are purchasing the highest possible quality product.

This attention to detail is part of the Good ManufacturingPractice (GMP) guidelines that we follow in our production facility and the Indochine Natural commitment to high quality.
