How are the Indochine Natural Body Wash, Shampoo, and Face Wash products different?

How are the Indochine Natural Body Wash, Shampoo, and Face Wash products different?

Different? But aren’t all the brands very similar in the ingredients used?
Actually no. Many body wash, shampoo and face wash products are synthetic detergents (for short we call these “Syndets”).

You mean I have been using synthetic detergents in my bathroom? How can I tell from the
label?
Check the ingredients list and you will find things like Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, plus many other synthetic chemicals.

How about “organic” bathroom products?” Surely these must be OK?
Maybe. But there is nothing stopping a manufacturer from adding an organic ingredient to a Syndet and calling it “organic shampoo.”

OK, so how are the Indochine Natural products
different then?
First is the ingredients, these are blends of vegetable oils such as Soybean, Coconut, Canola, and Olive oil. There are no synthetics or chemicals and the ingredients are all from plants. Second, the production method, which is a simple process called saponification. After two years of research and experimenting, Dr. Mike has perfected an eco-friendly method that only requires a small amount of heat energy. At room temperature we add things like essential oils and wild harvest organic honey, all of which have benefits for our hair and skin.

How can I tell this from the labels?
Simple. On Indochine Natural products you will see ingredients such as Potassium Cocoate (coconut oil), Potassium Canolate (canola oil), Potassium Ricate (rice bran oil), and Potassium Soyate (soybean oil). And that’s all, there are no chemical additives, everything in the product is plant derived.

If I use these plant derived products, what is the main benefit?
Besides the benefits to our hair and skin from using natural ingredients, you will not be absorbing synthetic chemicals through your skin and adding to your body’s toxic load.

Dr. Mike’s philosophy in developing Indochine Natural products is that purity and simplicity are the best approach in producing effective and safe body care products.
